Library Media Center

Our mission for the CMS Library Media Center is to proivide staff and students with:

     The Library Media Center provides a comfortable and engaging place for students to access and create media.  Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the building at all times, and students have access to chromebooks through a stay at school one-to-one chromebook model at all times of the day throughout the building. There are currently over 600 Dell chromebooks throughout the building for students. It is our goal to help integrate this abundant technology into the curriculum for staff and students.

Inspire
This is a GREAT collection of databases, free to use from anywhere you have Internet access in the state of Indiana. The place to go for biographies, topic searches, magazine and newspaper articles, and more.
Hint: it's best to go directly to the database you want to see, rather than using Inspire's interface. Use EbscoHost for magazines and newspaper articles, and Biography Resource Center for biographical information.

The Library of Congress
The Library of Congress is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution and serves as the research arm of Congress. It is also the largest library in the world, with nearly 128 million items on approximately 530 miles of bookshelves. The collections include more than 29 million books and other printed materials, 2.7 million recordings, 12 million photographs, 4.8 million maps, and 57 million manuscripts.
